RIFLE SHOOTING.
NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB.
On Saturday and Wednesday last the Nelson Defence Rifle Club fired a Championship shoot over ranges 200, 500, and 600 yards, also counting for the Kia Ora trophy. Riflemen Day and P. Gledhili showed great form, "both marksmen piling on 100. Rifleman Day drorjped only one point on the last two ranges, and both made possibles at 500 yards.
