DRASTIC JAPANESE ACTION EXPECTED.
ARTILLERY DUELS IN FRANCE.
Germany has refused to renew the armistice with Russia, and ihe advance on Petrograd continues with the evident intention of occupying the city, which fraatie efforts are being made to de end. Drastic Japanese action is forecasted. Great artillery duels are proceeding on the French front, and the German bombardment of the British lines continues. The Austrians are preparing for an offensive on the Italian front.
