London, Feb. 20.

Sir Douglas Haig reports:— We repulsed raiders southward of Armentieres.

There was mutual artillery activity south-eastward of Epehy and southward of Armentieres.

Ou,r aviators bombed yesterday an aerodrome northward of Douai, a lar^e dump at Courtrai, and the railway station south-eastward of Douai.

Contiruous air figl:ting is proceeding.

We brought down eleven and crove down six enemy machines. Two of mis

are missing.

We bombed Treves and Thionvule last night from low altitudes wth good results. Five bursts were ob.;<srv<>d at Troves station, which was set ahaiio, and three other buildings were ignited.

Bursts were observed at the Thionville railway station and gasworks, ard a large fire was caused.

One of our machines is missing

We dropped a ton of bombs on Treves during a dayligH raid to-day. There were eleven bursts at the railway station and six on neighbouring buildings. Three fires were started.

. We repeatedly drove off hostile scouts and aircraft. The fire was considerable, and one of our maetutos has not returned.

A French communique reports: —

There is fairly great artillery activity in the Champagne and on the riglrt bank of the Meu&e.

From February 16th to ISi-h we brougb't down 18 enemy machines.

The railway stations at Metz Sablons, Forbach and Bensdorf were bombed, aid also depots at Ensiesveini, where a big fire broke out.
