INTENSE AIR FIGHTING IN THE WEST.
ANOTHER BRITISH ADVANCE IN PALESTINE.
Mr Lloyd George's speech in the House of Commons on the Versailles Council showed thac the new system was unanimously approved hy the Allied delegations and commanders. Sir Douglas Haig's control oJ: his troops is not impaired. Raiding and artillery activity continue on the entire Western front. The British carried out 'several successful local operation*, and repulsed enemy raiders. Continuous air fighting is proceeding, and British airmen have made many effective attacks on German positions. The British have made a further advance of two miles on a front of fifteen miles ease of Jerusalem.
