A Helsingfors message reports that 15,000 Red Guards, armed with rifles and machine gfns, have arrived in Southern, Fie land from Petrograd.

Several hundred White Guards reached tie Aaland Islands after crossing the ice. They caused further bloody fighting with the Russians, who now refuse to leave unless the White Guards also leave.
