Wellington, Jan. 18. Laery and Co., Ltd., report as follows on the Wellington fruit and produce market:— We recommend supplies- of all good fruit. Present values: — Tomatoes: Nelson extra choice showing signs of colour 5s 6d to 6s 6d, good 5s to 5s 3d, medium 4s to 4s 6d, Auckland firm coloured choice 3s to 4s. Plums: Extra choice dessert 8s to 7s, Blue Diamond 4s to ss, Satsuma 4s to ss, Burbank large 5s to 6s 6d, medium 2s to 3s. Peaches: Choice dessert 6s to 7s 6d, good 4s 6d to 5s 6d, medium 3s to 3s yd, crates extra choice 9s to 13s. ■^ Apricots: Extra choice 8s to 9s, good 7s to 7s 6d, medium 6s to 6s 6d " per half-case. (incorporating Braid and Wallace), report aa follows on the Wellington fruit and produce market: — Stone fruit from Nelson and Motueka is in very keen demand, owing to atfected fruit arriving from the Hawke's Bay district, and wo strongly advise shippers to continue consigning regularly. Tomatoes are in very heavy supply to-day, and values are easier Teviot apricots are coming forward in fairly large quantities, and are meeting with a good demand. Locally-grown apples,' both' cooking and dessert^ are now meeting with a better reception, ias the bulk of the Calirorniau apples I naive been disposed o*f.
