. Washington, Dee. 13. Mr Josephus Daniels, Secretary pi the Navy, in a speech, said tlat America did not desire vengeance on the German people, who were pawns in the bestial warfare, but the United States favoured no quarter to the German war leaders. America was determined to press the war on to an absolute victory, and fight till Germany's war lords were deposed. Her slogan was "Freedom for all for ever."
The Senate Committee has elicited tie fact that General Pershing's force is using. British and French artillery, and that few American guns will bo shipped abroad till June, 1918. t Evidence was given at the San Francisco inquiry that Count Bernstorff, formerly German Ambassador at Washington, advanced 81,000 - dollars to foment a revolution in India.
