, (Received Dec. 12, 7 p.m.) London, Dec. 11. In tho House of Commons, Mr Balfour stated that in September last the Government received from Germany a eomunication sent through a neutral diplomatic channel to the effect that Germany would be glad to make a communication to the British Government regarding peace. Tho. Government replied that they were prepared to receive any communication Germany1 desired to make them, and to discuss it with their Allies. The Government informed France, Italy, Japan, Russia, and tte United States of the German suggestion and their reply. No answer had been returned, and ho other official communication had been received.
