When the appeals of Young and Howell against their convictions lor inc'ting a seditions strike, oame . ijerore the Cliief Justice to-day, Mr Myers, lor the appollantsj said he iiad been shown certain telegrams which were not put iv as evidence in the lower Court, and ha had advised his clients not to proceed. Sir Roberc Stput^ in iormally dismissing the appeals, advised the seamen to resume work.
