Although six. or seven Zeppelins crossed the coast, it is believed that only one penetrated tie London area, and dropped bombs in three districts.

The VSunday Times" says that Londoners and all Englishmen are' chagrined that a fleet of Zeppelins was able-1 to visit the capital and escape scot free. Somebody blundered. How otherwise can be explained the strange shyness of tie searchlights, and the consequent shyness of our vaunted barrage ?
