Wellington, Oct. 17. The Arbitration Court gave its judgment to-day, dealing with the interpretation of \ the- points in dispute in the agreement between the coastal shipown:&rs and tho.seamen. ..The points were, decided in favour of the employers' view of the agreement in regard'to women- in a watch. Tho Court doubted -its jurisdiction to deal.^vvith I.hequos:tion, but expressed the opinion that, on the vessels in question, it was not essential to safety to have two .-fleck hands in a watch in addition to' art officer.
