A lively artillery struggle is pioceeding on the Aisne and th^ Mease. A iarge German naval force covered the landmg on Oesel Island, Vhe re fighting continues, the Rusfcifiiis being pressed back towards the southeast. Petrograd is not believed to be immediately menaced.
