The Admiralty reports that the arrivals for tli© week totalled 2680, and the sailings 2742.
Eleven vessels over and two under 1800 tons were eunk. Sixteen were unsuccessfully attacked.
The total loss indicated above is the smallest reported since February 25th last, when tie Admiralty commenced the issue of weekly returns. Only in one week, that ending September 16th, has the number of vessels over 1600 tons 6unk been lower, eight being lost in that period, in addition to eleven under 1600. tons. The figures reported last week were 13 over and 2 Tinder 1600 tons, and 10 unsuccessful attacks. •
