Most of the newspapers emphatically demand aerial retaliation against German towns. They lay stress upon Mr Lloyd Georgo's remark, "We will bomb Germany witty compound interest."

Public opinion is manifested in various ways, and there is a display of growing anger at the deiay in striking back.

A meeting of Lord Mayors has bee a convened to press on the Government the publio demand for retaliation.
