1 The epidemic of dysentery, which is general in Germany and Austria, is attributed to malnutrition. - Patients are unable to get good milk. The German War Office is intercepting supplies and extracting nitro-glycerine.. The "War Office oven intercepts Swiss milk at tlie frontiers, though Germany pleaded ''that slro must be allowed to import from Switzerland, as babies and young children would die.

The Austro-Gorman Governments are seeking to allay public fears by announcing that new foods have been invented to replace milk.
