Qurtedin, August 10. . The Coroner (Mr Bartholomew) returned a verdict of accidental' death in; the case of lan Douglas, ageel three/1 who was drowned in one of the Drainftge Board's mud tanks. He added that the mud tanks and gratings weroa menace to tho lives of children on the fiat; The tanks were positive death-' traps. He was strongly of opinion tliat' steps* should be taken to render the gratings more cseure and prevent their being displaced by children and others.; •'■'■••■ > i
