Internal Affairs to furfner reduce the Dunedin Jockey Club fixtures % one day. The District Committeo will- meet for the purpose of allotting this day to ono of the smaller, clubs.
HAWKE'S BAY JOCKEY CLUB. Hastings, June 29. The Hawke's Bay winter meeting opened to-day in dull weather. The-i racing was exceptionally good, notwith-' standing a heavy course. Results: — Woodlands Hack Steeplechase, about 2 miles: S Merry Jack 1, 4- Union Jack Wha'katu Hack Hurdles, about 13- miles: 11 Tarehau 1, 1 Mummer 2. Hawke's Bay.
