The Roumanian Parliament is to meet at Jassy to vote constitutional reforms. Henceforth the Chamber will be elected on a universal suffrage by secret ballot with proportional representation. The electors hasve increased from 180,000 to 1,200,000. The Senate will be composed of elected hereditary senators.

Nearly six million acres have been placed at the disposal of the peasantry, chielly by the expropriation of private owners .and Crow n ..domains. Tie peasant holdings then increased from. 53 to 85 per cent, of the cultivable area. Tiie King insists upon sacrificing- the Crown lands.
