THE CENTRAL POWERS.
THE REICHSTAG.
VIGOROUS ATTACK ON THE
GOVERNMENT.
(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association)
Amsterdam, May 7. Herr Colm, in the Reichstag, Vigorously attacked the Government for compelling soldiers to subscribe to the War Loan. He protested against Germany's methods of warfare, including submarinism and the air raids on London, which could not definitely be regarded as a fortified town. Improved food conditions were impossible during the war period. The people were hungering for political equality.
The Speaker called Herr Coin to order when he declared that the Government was responsible for the war.
