LAMB.—In sad but loving memory of Charles Lamb, who was ilrowned at Nelson on April 27th,.] 911.
The midnight stars are shining upon a silent .grave, Where sleeping without dreaming lies one we could not save; I often sit and think of you when I am all alone, For .memory is the only fricrid that ! grief can -call its own. (Inserted by his sorrowing wife and sons.)
