Christchurch, Dec. 12. Itobert Semple appeared at tho Magistrate's Court, charged with making sx-cutious utterances
.Mr-Raymond-, Iv.C, appeared for the •^rown, and asked for a, remand. Mr J. A,. Cassidy, for the.accused, asked for bail. • •
The Crown opposed the application. Mr Bishop, S.M., said that if bail was allowed, Semple might have an opportunity of doing mischief The Magistrate had discretion m this case and bail Avould be refused.
