UPPER MOUTERE.

October 27. At the annual general meeting of the Upper Moutere-Neudorf Sports Club there was a good attendance of members. Mr J. Pugh (president) occupied the chair.

The balance-sheet for the sports meeting, showing a credit balance of £70 lls Id, : was read. This amoxint has been handed oiver to the Sick and Wounded Soldiers' Fund.

The chairman reported that in addition to the amount handed to the Sick and Wounded Soldiers' Fund, the Moutere branch of the Red Cross Association's takings for the.day had amounted to over £10, so that the nett proceeds derived from the sports meeting were over £110.

It was resolved on the motion of Mr J. Sixtus, that the committee's action in donating £10 of the club's fund to the Silver Bullet Cannonade be endorsed.

This feeing all the business of the old committee, Mr Pugh was elected chairman of the meeting with a view to discussing matters in connection with holding another sports meeting. Mr A. Wilkens was elected secretary for the meeting. After some discussion, it was resolved on the motion of Mr Perry, seconded by Mr D. Drummond, that a patriotic sports meeting bo again held this season, on January Ist, 1917, and that 75 per cent, of the nett proceeds go towards patriotic purposes, and 'So per cent, i><> held [or the club's fund.
