Bates's weather sum-jnai-y for the past 24 hours is as folJows:—^Dull and misty weather has prevailed, and rain has fallen in man}' parts r strong northerly winds have predominated, but little change in atlnospheric pressure has taken place. Forecast: Present- indications _ are for high northerly and westerly winds, unsettled and squally weather; rain pr« bable generally; barotneter unsteady iind falling again' soon.
