BUCHANAN.—On October 27th, 1916, at Nelson, Archibald, beloved husband of Adeline Buchanan, in his 72nd year.
FOWLER,—KiIIed in action, in France, October 2nd, 1916, Rifleman George Fowler, 3rd Battalion, 3rd N.Z. Rifle Brigade (formerly of N.Z. Samoan Expeditionary Force), third son of George and Kate Fowler, aged 22 years.—R.l.P. JAMES.—On November 2nd, at Ta%unanui, Ruwi James, beloved wife of Richard James, Tahunanui, in her 53rd year. (Palmerston North.)
JANSON.—At Nelson, on November 14th, 1916, Ngaere, the only and dearly beloved daughter of Gilbert and Alice Janson, aged 3 years and 9 months.
KEN YON.—Accidentally drowned in France on October 17th, 1916, Sap- ; per Bertram D, Kenyonj N.Z. Field Engineers. Second dearly beloved son of David and Mary Kenyon, of "Woodville, and grandson of the late Hugh Kenyon.
O'CONNOR—At Featherston M.O. Hospital, William Joseph, dearly beloved son of WilJiam and Clara O'Connor, aged 20 years. R.I.P. SMITH. —At his residence, Mount street, Nelson, October 20th, 1916, William, dearly deloved husband of Janet. Smith j -in his 75th year.
