LONDON WHEAT MARKET.
CAUSES OF THE RISE
GERMAN-AMERICAN CONSPIRACY
SUGGESTED.

London, August 14
The "Daily Telegraph" declares that Chicago influences are largely responsible for the rise of wheat on the English markets during the past few days. Some Mark Lane factors declare that the movement is the result of a German-American conspiracy to force prices up. If Britain could increase the freightage from the Argentine and Australia it would counteract the American gambling.
