MEETING OF EXECUTIVE.
At n meeting of the Executive of the Silver Bullet Cannonade held last evening very satisfactory reports were made regarding the various arrangement's for the great rally on Monday next. It was announced that Messrs Nightingale and Bay had purchased^ the catering rights for Monday. : It was reported by a member that a town resident had received an anonymous message by post referring to him' in an uncomplimentary -way'in regard to the matter of contributions The matter was mentioned only. for-the purpose of enabling-the Executive to publicly disavow any sjinpathy with such tactics.
