DEI:ER.RBD PAY3IENTS
Tho Executive- of the Silver Bullet Cannonade feel bhat, notwithstanding the publicity .which . .has been given, donors to tho fund do not fully appreciate the fact that donations may be spread over .a,-period of two years. They put it this way: —A donor may bo prepared to give £")<■> down, but he would like to contribute -a greater amount. To meet such" case's thei''Executive have arranged to take promissory notes spread over the period of two years. If the present effort is successful no uall on lioh.ilf of tho Sick and Wounded Soldiers' Fund will be m^de for two years j from date. Some of the donors .whose contributions ha-io been acknowledged have given, say, one-fourth of their donation in cash and spread the balance over tho period mentioned. The Executive feel that if this fact was more generally known and appreciated a number of contributions would be increased in amount, and they' appeal to those in
ithev happy position-^of^fbeing to \ contribute substantial amounts,**> near in < mind the systemJof. deferred -pay-1 ments. " ' " " ».•;-' '".';•, / - ' |
