WE WANT EVERY FARMER fO USE \ < Basis Phosphate* rT BEATS ALL OTHEft MANURES AND GIVES WONDERFUL HESCLTS WHEtf USED ON GRAIN CROPS • BOOT CROPS Q§SG&SJIBB3 a HOPS IT IS ALSO BY FAR THE BEST TOP DRESSING MANURE ON THE MARKET. If you onco us© this Celebrated Manure you will use no other. Read what some of our local and well-known Farmers say:— Motueka, Jan. 15, 1915. Messrs. Bisley Bros, and'Co-:' Nelson. Dear Sirs,— It affords me mucn pleasure to be able to advise you of the great success'l have, had from the 5 tons of Eockland Basic Phosphate Manure which I purchased from you a- few months ago. For many years I have been a larce user of imported superphosphates," basic slag, and various brands of Nov.- Zealand freezing companies' mixtures; but I hav-s never had such marked success from any manures as I have had this season from your Basic Phosphate, in spite of worse weather conditions than we have experienced for many years. I used a portion of your manure to TOP DRESS some of my GRASS LAND, and the balance. I used on oats. One paddock I manured and shut up for hay, and despite the dry season from this very old pasture a good crop, from this ver yold pasture a good crop, vihile unmarmred paddocks shut up gave poor results. 1 manured one paddock on which I run my cows regularly and left the others. The paddock which was manured I should think produces about 25 per cent, more feed than any of the unmanured paddocks. Clovers carae in a surprising manner, although clover had not shown to any extent for some years. As well as this, the grass seemed to grow fresher snd to contain more nourishment, as the cows milked better and did better Vv-hen on the manured pasture. I "had sufficient manure to cover half Miy OAT CROP, and for the remainder I used a freezing company's special grain manure. The Oats on which I used the Basic Phosphate left the other oats far behind, and to such a market extent that people asked me what I had dona to half my crop. I am so pleased with my success with this-manure, that I think every farmer should know of its qualities, and to see this end I would be pleased to give every farmer further particulars and show the actual results. I can confidently recommend Jiockland Basic Phosphate, and my order for the coming season will he about- 5 tons. (Signed) W. W. LIVES'AY. Brightwater, Feb. 9ta. 1915. Messrs. Bisley Bros, and Co., Nelson. Dear Sirs, — We have to advise you of our suoces: with Rockland Basic Phosphate Manure We purchased two tons from you, anc although late in the season, applied s portion of it to one-half of oui CLOVER. PADDOCK. The other hall of this paddock we top-dressed witl Basic Slag. The difference, between the manures was most marked, and we hat a really v.'onderful result with the Bask Phosphate, The portion manured witl the Basic Phosphate grew stronger taller, and the clover was bright green whereas the Basic SJag portion had i yellowish tinge, and was decidedly in ferior. We are so pleased with our success with this manure that we will use largf quantities during the coming season. (Signed) NEWMAN BROS. Although the paddock was not topdressed to» following year the resuil was even more noticeable, which proves that Basic Phosphate is a lasting manure. Riwalca. March 11th, 1915. Messrs. Bisley Bros, and Co w Nelson. Dear Sirs.— It affords me much pleasure to be able to advise you of my success with the Rockiand Basic Phosphate manure which I purchased from you last July. I used this manure on my GRAIIS CROPS (OATS and WHEAT). The paddock where this grain grew is the poorest piece of land ou my property, and during the forty years I have had this place,* i have neve? hafe a crop so gOGd by half. It is the opinion of the iarmers in this neighbourhood, that my oat crop is the? best in the district, and my wheat crop is exceptionally good. 3 have to put tftis success down"to~your Basic Phosphate. You can -make use of this reference ' to help to make the manure known, as sifter, my sucress I feel ii: is the best manure and the chearsest on the market. (Signed) ALEX. DRUMMOND. Motueka, Jan. 1-lih, 1915. Messrs. Bisley Bros, and Co., kelson. Dear Sirs, — I have great pleasure in advising you of the success I have had from the Kockland Basic Phosphate which. 1 purchased from you last July. I used the majority on GRASS PADBOCKS, and 1 can confidently say that during the ten years ! have had this property, ? have never had half the grass J have ?iad this season, although T have stocked the ground as heavily as usual. The effect of your manure is even more siirorising seeing that the season has been e.-eeptiondlv dry and a general bad year for ccrass.' The Basic Phosphate forced the" growth of clover in my paddocks where clover had not shown for years. I am .so satisfied with the manure that £ will largely increase ray order for the coming- season.
