ROAD BOARD.
SUBURBAN NORTH.
The usual monthly meeting of the Suburban North Eoad Board was held on Friday at the hall. Members present: Messrs. Vv T. H. Alborough (chairman), A. Dodson (treasurer), J. Coi'dcr, B. F. Weller, E. W. Frost, and A.
Stagg. Accounts Avere passed for payment amounting to £56 5s 6d. The overseer's report of Avork was read as follows: —He had had a good lot of patching and repairing done during the month on the roads. Messrs. Westley Bros, had completed their contract in the upper Teal Valley. Re the Government grant, he recommended the board to have about 10 chains of road gravelled opposite H. E. Frost's in the Lud Valley."Mra, C. K. Tvr # « •■ ond Mr. H. Flower had cut the goj.se Avell back off the road leading up to T. Rayner's, and he had had the road repaired by patching and clearing out watertables.
