The "Morning Post's" Petrograd correspondent reports hot fighting on the west bank of the Stokhod. The retreating Germans burned the bridges and the Russians are piirsuing them across the river.

The Germans are straining every nerve to check their advance on Kovel.

The Russian captures in five days on the Stokhod totalled 611 officers and 21,145 men, besides 71 guns an3-S3 machine guns.
