Fry, complaining of stray stock on the roads, land emphasising tfie necesity of annulling or minimising the iiuisa'nce, which is a.live danger to the '.motor travelling public. ■•■.*■-,--: M. Barakat, making application to have public-road opened to. his section, and stating his willingness, to help to j defray the cost. He-solutions wore passed/as follows; That all accounts as presented be paid. That M. Barakat be notified in effect that though ho already, has a road on bis western Iwvndary -tho board, will 'confer 'with him- at his - section ;,as to. his requirements. That tho rate of Mages to pitmen and spreaders ■be at 9s per day, all others 3s. ' ' . . '
That the .water-table be cleared from Jno. Cook's to Thomas's gate, where necessary. That six days' work be done on the Little-Sydney'bridle track. That £sf> be expended gravelling tire board's reads. ' Cheques passed for payment totalled £82 18s 9d.
