j - (Received June 6, 1.10 a.m.) Sydney, June 5. A man dressed in naval uniform, accompanied by a young woman, hired a motor caiwn the city. Near Duval, on a pretext, he got the driver to examine the banks, and when the driver sought to remount the man presented a revobcr at him. He declared himself to be an escaped German prisoner, and said he had no intention of being caught. He and the woman drove away at full speed. The driver reported the matter to the police, who have failed to trace the pair.
