RED CROSS BRANCH.
The following letter has been received by the secretary from the Commandant, New Zealand Expeditionary force, (Jairo, Egypt, reeling one case of goods forwarded by the local branch m January last:— "In reference to your letter dated 'th January, 1916, advising despatch of one case of Ued Cross goods, valued at £34, forwarded by the Motueka uranch of the St. John Ambulance Association, I have now the honour to svise the safe receipt of same, which has been handed to the Deputy Director, New Zealand Medical Services, for (.istnbution to New Zealand institutions, in accordance with their varying requirements. Will you bo gooa enough to convey to the donors the very best thanks of Lieutenant-General oir A. J. Godley. Commanding New Zealand Expeditionary Force, for their kindness in forwarding such a useful consignment? I have tho ■ honour to •, madam, your obedient servant.
