EASTER HOLIDAY.

FIXTURES AND ARRANGEMENTS

There will be no publication of "The Colonist" to-morrow (Good Friday) or on Easter Mom-lav.

The usual Easter 'bowling tournament, for which a large number of visiting rinks have entered, will take place.-on the Nelson and Maitai greens, commencing to-morrow, and continuing on Saturday and Monday.

Marine excursions to Motueka by the Anchor Company's steamers Koi and Nikau are advertised.

The Motucka Valley horticultural show and dog trials will take place at I T-apawera, on Easter Monday. A special holiday timetable at excursion rates has been i&sued by the 'Railway Department. Spec*""l programmes will be screened at the ihnpirV" theatre every evening except Sunday. , At the* Theatre- Ros7ii fp Sunday evening a concert will be the Nelson Concert Orchestra, in aid of the Red Cross Fund.
