ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
DEVtE FROM GASTRO ENTERITIS AiaGkSancf, April 14. John O'Grady, a single man, aged 68 years of age, died in the public hospital while on remand on a charge of drunkennes at Pukekohe. Evidence at the inquest, showed that deceased was ill when admitted to Mount Eden Prison, and he stated that he had been drinking swamp water. The verdict, in accordance with'the medical evidence, was death from gastro' enteritis. ' f FALL DOWN~A SHIP'S HOLD. Napi^s April 14. This morning Mr F. W.
