DROWNED IN THE WANGANUI
PRIEST'S NAIUtOW ESCAPE
Sister Jieonora (otherwise known as Norah Cli-'raents), one of the four nuns who recently came to this 'iistrict; r'r>?the opening of the new convent, was drowned in the Wanganui river, near Manunui, or. An inquob was held at the convent, when the Coroner returned n verdict of "Accidentally drowned," and commendfd Fatli-:-r Forde's oiforts to rescue dc'ceased.
