AN ALTERED MANIFEST.
London, Jan. 30
Official.—One hundred and forty-two tons of meat on board the Stockholm was originally entered in the ship's manifest and struck out of the bill of lading. As the British Consul sealed the hatches in New York the alteration aroused suspicion of fraud.
