He annexed two races in Dunedin a. short while ago, and now wo hear he has won the ' Eden Trot, of 2.. milefe in Auckland, winning- a stake of '£250 and doing the distance in 4.54. Another Takaka! horse, cam© to light the other;day, old. Pine Rose, who scored two firsts.■ and «ne.-second, in the. day at Kar.am.ca. Tarakohe, another, of ours, also ran- in a-'winner-on the West Coast only a week or so ago. So far, the- performers to be at our meeting on February 2nd arc sll dark horses, but a lot of them are beingprepared on the quiet and fair nominations are looked for.
