It is stated that the Austro-Germans and Bulgarians have completed preparations for an immediate attack upon Salonika. The Montenegrins have been heavily engaged at several points, inflicting and suffering severe losses. The Russian offensive in Eastern Gaiicia and Bakowina continues to make headway. Obartorvsk, on the Styr, has been captured, and Austrian attacks with gas in the Czernowitz region were repulsed with enormous enemy losses. Artillery activity is general on the Western front, and German positions at several points have been effectively bombarded.
