INSURANCE CLERK ARRESTED.

Dunctiin, Sept. 14. Robert Sproull Monzies, who had charge of tno insurance department of Neill and Go., Ltd., was arrested yes.terday afternoon and brought before the Police Court' this morning on a charge that on July 6th last he committed theft in that, having received £236 12s 30d from Neill and Co on terms requiring him to pay same iv the Royal Insurance Company, lie did fraudulently concert the same to his own use. A lXHnand was granted. Bail was refused.
