"The Times'" Petrograd correspendent says that if the Germans enter Riga they will find an even emptier shell than Warsaw. The city has l"?n completely stripped of enemy comforts and requirements. Even the inscription plates on the statues in the cathedrals, and the huge bells have leei removed.
