FRENCH VISITOR'S IMPRESSIONS.
SUBMARINE HUNTING
Paris, Sept. 13.
: M.Pelyre, describing1 in the "Figaro"; hi*J visit to the British Fleet, says that England never had finer crew^ or a better armed and faster fleet. t Tlie submarine hunting was thoroughly methodical. He considered-it fine sport. More German submarines were sunk than captured. They were hunted with nets, guns, bombs and otherwise. Now the crews knew they have less chance of returning than of sleeping in the sea depths.
