Mr R Heaton Rhodes said in tho House of Representatives (telegraphs) our correspondent) that it fell to his lot as junior member of the late Ministry to resign his portfolio. He did so cheerfully, "looking upon it as a duty Tho sacrifice he made was a small thing, especially when one thought oi ihe real sacrifices which were being made for us by tho men in the trendies and by tho wives and mothers who had sent sons and husbands to tiic front.
