VICTIMS MOSTLY GERMANS
London, July 7
A Rhodesian trooper's letter, states that the Germans planted mines all. over the desert.
A German newspaper declared that Botha's road at Windhoek would be a sea of blood. Actually, the mines killed 61 Germans, and killed and wounded five British.
