PLOT TO SINK ANGLO-FRENCH

New York, July 7
The Port officials discovered that three trans-Atlantic liners sailing from New York for Havre during May, with cargoes of contraband, had bombs on board. The discoveries were made before the vessels sailed.
It is believed there is an extensive German plot to destroy as many Allied ships as possible.
