SUICIDE IN AN ASYLUM.

A young man named Georg*l. Mitchell, a mental patient in the Porirua Asylum, committed suicide by hatv/ing himself. At the inquest evidence vvn>s given that Mitchell was a quiet patient, arid had. no suicidal tendencies. He was left for a few minutes, and went to the lavatory, where he was found hanging by a strap.
