Victor Albert George Villiers, seventh "Earl of Jersey, was born - ; in 1845, and succeeded his father in 1859 Lord Jersey was Paymaster-General from law to 1890 in which year ho was appointed Governor of New South Wales, remaining in the colony, for three years, ttie heir\is his son, Viscount Villiers.
