A Japanese training squadron has arrived, and will visit the Commonwealth, ports. Admiral Chisaki, who is in command, expressed the opinion that Japan, was not required to send troops to Europe, "but if the necessity arose she would send men and munitions, and carry oui; the spirit of her alliance.
