FURTHER PROGRESS NORTH OF ARRAS.
TRENCHES CAPTURED NEAR
SOUCHEZ.

Paris, June 1. Official. —We have made further arogress to the north of Arras.
On the road from Souchez we occupied at Talon a mill and some German trenches stretching from the mill tn the sugar factory.
There have been only artillery duels on the outskirts of the Bois le Pretre.
