Wellington, May 10. \ Tho Defence Department to-night received' ndvice of the death in hospital of No. 7/296 Corporal Ameral Christopher Abbott (Canterbury Mounted Rifles) from anterior polio myelitis. His next of kin is Mrs. Isabella Scott, cf Southbridge (mother).
